Welcome to Waveous, a mobile application provided by Zephos Software Pty. Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Waveous.
By accessing or using Waveous, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the app
immediately.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Waveous, as access is governed by Spotify’s minimum age requirements.
- You must have a valid Spotify account to log in.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We are not liable for unauthorized
access to your account.

Waveous collects and processes the following data:
- Your Spotify streaming history, likes, and user profile information (via the official Spotify API).
- Your comments and likes within the Waveous app.
How We Use Your Data
- We use your data only to provide Waveous services (e.g., generating music stats, showing friend activity).
- We do not sell, share, or disclose user data to third parties.
- We store your data securely and comply with applicable data protection laws.

5. Communications
By using Waveous, you agree that we may send you important service-related communications via email. These may
include security alerts, account updates, changes to our services, and legal notices. These communications are
necessary for the operation of Waveous, and you cannot opt out of them unless you delete your account
- You own any comments you post in Waveous. However, by posting, you grant us a license to display and
distribute your comments within the app.
- We do not allow:
- Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
- Spam, advertising, or unauthorized promotions
- Swearing is allowed, provided it does not violate the above rules.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
5. Copyright & Intellectual Property
- Waveous does not own any music content. All displayed album covers follow Spotify’s content guidelines.
- You must not post or share copyrighted material unless you have the right to do so.
- Any intellectual property rights related to Waveous, including the app’s design, branding, and software, remain our
property.
6. Third-Party Services & Dependencies
- Waveous integrates with the official Spotify APIs to provide its features.
- The app also relies on private third-party dependencies, but these are not disclosed or required knowledge for
end users.
- We do not control Spotify or third-party services. If these services change, your experience in Waveous may be
affected.
7. Account Termination & Data Deletion
- You may request account deletion and data removal by contacting [email protected].
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, harm other users, or use the app in an
unlawful manner.
- If your account is terminated, you may lose access to all data and content associated with it.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Waveous is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security breaches.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities caused by using Waveous.
- Issues caused by Spotify or third-party services.
- If you are dissatisfied with Waveous, your only remedy is to stop using the app.
9. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify users via the app or
email (if applicable).
- The updated Terms will take effect upon posting.
- By continuing to use Waveous after the changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree,
you must stop using Waveous and may request account deletion at [email protected].
